Removes firewall rules for the backup agent in the built-in Windows Firewall.
Checks and removes previously created (by Add-MBSFirewallRules cmdlet or manually) firewall rules for backup agent executables.
In most cases, this cmdlet is useful for testing purposes.
Example 1: Remove firewall rules for installed MBS backup agent.
This example removes 10 firewall rules (5 inbound and 5 outbound) and returns the result of the operation.
PS C:\> Remove-MBSFirewallRules Firewall rules removed successfully - 10
This cmdlet supports the common parameters: Verbose, Debug, ErrorAction, ErrorVariable, WarningAction, WarningVariable, OutBuffer, PipelineVariable, and OutVariable. For more information, see about_CommonParameters.
To run this cmdlet you must start PowerShell by using the Run as administrator option.
To be able to remove firewall rules the backup agent must be installed.
